Our Top Picks for Interior Design Shopping in London Part Six: Further Afield

London interior and decor shops

We wanted to highlight some of our favourite luxury interior design showrooms to visit in London. From many years of experience, we know that where possible it is always worth trying to see things in real life. Check out the texture of a tile, assess and touch the curve on a basin, try out the comfort level of a sofa. And yes! We know there are too many amazing showrooms to visit in one day, so we’ve broken it down into separate areas. This is usually how we plan our own showroom trips to ensure they’re as efficient and streamlined as possible (and that there’s time to schedule a refreshment stop or two!)

Naturally, with any of our suggestions, it’s a good idea to call or email ahead of your planned visit to check opening times and availability.

Definitely worth the travel

If you don’t have a whole day or half a day spare, make a note of these shops and showrooms for when you’re on a mission from A to B and one of these is happily en route!

As we’ve already mentioned, make a call or send an email before making a special journey … even when we’re back to ‘normal’ some places are occasionally closed for private appointments or may be having a period of ‘appointment only’ opening times.

Sedila in Clapham Park Road, SW4 has a small but perfectly formed collection of furniture, one of our highlights is the Sennen curved sofa.

The CP Hart bathroom showroom in Newnham Terrace, SE1 has long been a required destination for any bathroom/interior designer – it’s spacious and full of ideas and gorgeous products for a must-have bathroom.

Lanserring in Pembridge Villas, W11 are specialists in kitchens, furniture, and lifestyle accessories. Prepare to be enchanted by their kitchen stories.

The RKade Antiques design gallery in Ledbury Road W11 holds an eclectic range of furniture, lighting, objects, and collectibles which are regularly added to the website.

Fromental, based in NW6 are creators of bespoke, custom-sized panels of embroidered wallpaper. What an exquisite addition to a scheme!

Finally no London interiors tour is complete without a trip to the Mosaic factory in Columbia Road and Diespecker for terrazzo tiles and to Bill Amberg for amazing leather craftsmanship.
