Ian Hazard - Managing Director

Before joining Gunter & Co full-time, Ian spent a decade working in the City of London, heading a global team of research analysts for a Fortune 500 institution. As the demands of Gunter & Co began to overtake the day job, he decided to leave the city behind & join Irene to strengthen and lead the operations and project delivery of our Studio as our Managing Director. Ian enjoys leading our clients along the way through the many intricacies of the design, planning, tendering and construction process and occasionally has a design idea of his own!

Ian has been passionate about architecture and construction from a very young age and only decided to read Finance instead of Architecture on a coin toss. However, the summers working with the tools on building sites and persistently sketching his dream houses left a lasting memory, and he has never looked back.
