Gunter & Co was tasked with transforming a derelict listed building in Belgravia into a 3 bedroom maisonette. This full rebuild included the excavation of a new dressing room, bathroom and plant room in the vaults underneath the public roadway, the construction of an additional story and a full redesign of the interior layout and finishes. Gunter & Co took on the role of project manager and principal designer for this project.

The client brief was to create a London pied-a-terre for an international business executive, allowing for occasional small-scale entertainment and a resolutely unique interior design. We worked with a palette of rich colours to make the most of the daylight on offer in the property, from lighter colours in light-filled spaces to warm and rich shades in darker spaces. Together with a beautiful collection of artwork and a curated mix of antique and bespoke designed furniture pieces, this home feels like a warm hug, with small details and decorative touches guiding your eye around the property.
